René is chronic dabbler, student, and chronicler based in Portland, Oregon. Awed by the engineering marvels found in both nature and design, they gleefully photograph and study both natural and constructed environments. A student at Portland State studying city issues and planning, their focus is directed toward the intersection of urban ecology and social justice.

Enthusiastic about building community and driven by innate desires of their heart, they playfully fidget with the dichotomy of being an observer vs a creator, and relish in creatively exploring how to integrate ideas into the world around them.
